Pastoral Family Assistance Program (PFAP)
The Leadership Enhancement Team of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference offers a Pastoral Family Assistance Program (PFAP).
The PFAP is available to licensed and ordained pastors and their immediate family members while serving as a pastor in an Indiana-Michigan Conference church (and up to six months following), individuals serving as conference staff, or those in retirement from pastoral duties in the Indiana-Michigan Conference.
How it Works
- A pastor or family member calls the toll-free PFAP phone number to schedule an appointment. Call: 1-800-527-2322.
- An appointment to meet with a counselor will be scheduled at an office that is convenient for the pastor or dependent. They will be referred to one of WellSpan EAP’s affiliate providers, clinicians providing services on WellSpan EAP’s behalf, at locations nearby.
- If there is not a provider currently in your area, a provider will be found for you or you can recommend a provider.
Counselors offer confidential evaluation, short-term counseling and referral, at no cost to pastors and their families. Conference covers the copay for up to four PFAP sessions per family unit per contract year (April 1 – March 31).
