Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference (IMMC) is a community of 37 congregations. Representatives from each congregation are sent as delegates to help discern the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we strive to follow Jesus together.

Below you will find a guide for congregations in their selection of delegates and a collection of resources to help prepare delegates for their work.

Who can be a delegate?

Congregations are responsible for sending members to participate in events like Spring Summits, Summer Fest, and other Delegate gatherings. The following is a guide for who to send.

All credentialed congregational pastors or ministers.

One person representating congregational leadership (Chair of Congregation, Elders, Board, etc.).

One person representing financial matters within the congregation.

One person for each 150 members, or fraction thereof as “at-large” delegates.

Up to two youth or young adult delegates between the ages of 16 and 25.
