Congregations across Indiana understand the challenges and complexities faced by immigrant congregants and neighbors, as well as equipping existing members to best support them. In order to help you better engage with immigrant communities, Laura Pontius J.D., an immigration attorney, consultant and public speaker will be teaching the basic principles of immigration law, how the system currently works, and the realities behind the myths that surround immigration law. You’ll also learn how to support immigrant neighbors, and will be provided with contact information for local and national agencies engaged in this work.

Join us for a transformative celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Damascus Road anti-racism process and its pivotal role in the Anabaptist commitment to justice and reconciliation. Co-hosted by MC USA’s Hope for the Future, this special event will gather BIPOC leaders and white allies who are actively engaged in the ongoing work of confronting and dismantling racism in the church.
