• We invite you to join in praying for an end to violence in Myanmar. Our two Chin congregations in Indianapolis grieve the loss of friends and family members due to ongoing unrest in their home country, including an aerial bombing on March 31 and a car accident last week that resulted from an altercation with police. Pastor Chhaki Khaimi is currently in Thailand for two funerals, a relative and a dear friend.
  • Joanne traveled to Engadine, April 29-30 to preach at Wildwood Mennonite. She also hosted a meal to connect with pastors and leaders from Grand Marais, Maple River, and Wildwood congregations.
  • Sharon attended the memorial service for a long-time pastor and leader, LeRoy Bechler, on April 30. In 1949, LeRoy founded Ninth Street Mennonite Church in Saginaw, MI and continued pastoring there for 11 years. This was the first congregation of color in IN-MI Mennonite Conference.
